What This Course Is

The Foundations of Somatics is a complete, trauma-informed training in working with the body, the brain and the breath the three doorways to lasting change.

Over eleven modules, you'll learn how the nervous system really works, how trauma lives in the body, and how to release it safely through breath work, somatic tools, touch, movement, energy work and the voice. You'll learn to read a nervous system, hold space, and weave it all into real sessions or into your own daily life. This isn't just theory. It's over a decade of lived, hands-on experience the real work, taught the way it actually happens, in a way you'll feel as much as understand. And it's IPHM accredited so if you choose to practise, you finish with training that's recognised and insurable.

I've spent over two decades living and breathing this work in my own body first, and then alongside hundreds of women learning to come home to themselves. I'm a somatic practitioner, breath work facilitator and the founder of The Lunar Lounge. My work weaves together everything I've trained in and lived through, the nervous system, breath, trauma, energy, the voice into something real, grounded and human. Not theory. FAQ

  • Do I need any experience?

    None at all. The course starts from the very foundations and builds gently. Whether you're a complete beginner or already working in wellbeing, you'll be met where you are.

  • Is this for practitioners or for my own healing?

    Both. The course is built to serve those who want to work with others and those here for their own journey. You'll get everything you need either way and many people arrive for themselves and leave wanting to train further.

  • Is it accredited?

    Yes the course is IPHM accredited. If you choose to practise, you'll have training that's recognised and insurable. (Always check the specific insurance requirements in your own region.)

  • How does it work?

    It's fully online and self-paced, with video and audio lessons, guided meditations and a complete downloadable workbook. You have the option to attend in person hands on workshops with Jen.

  • What if I want to go deeper afterwards?

    This is your foundation. From here you can continue with my advanced trainings- Awaken & Release Body Work, The Liberation Movement Facilitator, and the Liberation RoadMap Somatic Practitioner.
